Samsung’s Galaxy A11 is just $130 with this Black Friday Best Buy deal

When you think of Samsung Galaxy, you tend to think of premium flagships that cost around $1,000 — sometimes even double of that. But Samsung actually has very capable smartphones at all price points, including the entry-level. In fact, the best selling Android phone of 2019 was the entry-level Galaxy A10. This year’s model, the Galaxy A11, improves on the Galaxy A10 with a more modern hole-punch all-screen design and a triple camera system. The Galaxy A11 already had an appealing $180 price, but for this Thanksgiving, Best Buy is shaving another $50 off.

At $130, the Samsung Galaxy A11 is about as low a price as you're ever gonna find for a big name brand smartphone. Expect reliable software and solid performance thanks to the Snapdragon 450 and Samsung's One UI.

So what do you get for $130? You get that aforementioned modern 6.4-inch LCD display with a hole-punch cutout housing an 8MP selfie camera, and a triple camera system headlined by a 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Powering everything is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. Sure, the SoC is a bit long in the tooth, but it’s still a reliable 11nm SoC that handles daily tasks without issues.

Usually, when you buy a sub-$150 smartphone, you may have to put up with some janky software because chances are it’s a less reputable brand. But not here — the Galaxy A11 may not have the cutting-edge Super AMOLED screen or the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s fancy cameras, but this is still very much a Samsung device. The One UI that runs here is responsive with relatively smooth animations and an intuitive swipe gesture navigation. Battery life is surprisingly impressive too, thanks to the 4,000 mAh cell, and topping up is done via USB-C, which is a rarity for phones under $150 in the US. The 15W charging speed, while not super fast, is no slouch either.

If you’re on the market for a smartphone and your budget is under $150, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal than the Galaxy A11 right now if you live in the US.
