In the sub-$100 range, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is easily one of the best gaming headsets out there. Much like other headsets in the lineup, it offers a comfy fit for long hours of use, custom-tuned 50mm drivers, and a decent microphone. On top of that, it comes with a USB audio controller for easy personalization and THX Spatial Audio support. Because of these additional features, it usually costs $20 more than the regular Kraken headset. But today, you can get your hands on a Kraken Tournament Edition for $25 less than the regular Kraken during Amazon’s Black Friday sale.

The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is currently available for just $55 on Amazon. That’s almost as cheap as the Kraken X, which is only compatible with consoles and doesn’t come with any additional features or a retractable microphone. Speaking of compatibility, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition features both a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB cable, which means you can connect it with your favorite console, Windows or Mac PC, and even your smartphone.
Once you’re connected to a device of your choice, you can use the USB audio controller to customize the audio profile as per your preference. The headset offers 17 levels of bass control, a THX Spatial Audio button to toggle 3D surround sound, in-line volume controls, a mic mute button, and a game/chat balance button to help you perfectly tune the in-game audio and chat audio to achieve the perfect balance between immersion and communication.
The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is available in both black and green color variants during Amazon’s Black Friday sale. But if my memory serves me right, you should hurry if you want to get your hands on the black variant as it often goes out of stock before the green one. No surprises there.
